Why this opportunity exists

We are looking for a Chief of Staff for Business Operations and Strategy to support daily deliverables. The position reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and has an incredible opportunity to grow in responsibility and visibility. The Business Operations and Strategy team is at the heart ROI analysis across the company, and is the engine of insights and strategic decisions for the CEO, CFO and CSO. The team covers cross functional initiatives and has specific business operations verticals along content, ad sales, growth, marketing and business development. Business Operations and Strategy also works closely with the Finance team and office of the CEO. You will play a pivotal role in driving high impact initiatives but most importantly your top responsibility will be to take projects off of plate of the Chief Strategy Officer. This role requires a high level of organization and structure, dedication and great attention to detail, acute IQ and EQ skills and effective communication. This position will be remote to start, but ideally you will be based in San Francisco or Los Angeles in the long term.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage business operations team meetings, events, and presentations. Diligent documentation of notes and takeaways from each meeting, follow ups and follow through on outcomes of each meeting. • Setting up meetings and agendas for Chief Strategy Officer. Organizing next steps and takeaways of each meeting. • Set up schedules of follow ups and project managing to timelines and requirements. • Organizing presentations, deliverables and historical data and presentations, archiving in an easy to find manner. • Strategic thought partner to the Chief Strategy Officer on planning and thinking in the next. • Organize, gather and turn into presentation-ready, high visibility, high impact C-suite presentations with an acute attention to detail. • Manage and prioritize pressing and timely requests and take as much as possible off the plate of Chief Strategy Officer. • Architecting and delivering crisp agendas, synthesis of meetings, prioritized next steps and presentations.

Additional requirements (other than skills)

• Must haves: Excel skills, Advanced Powerpoint skills, Advanced Microsoft Work skills or equivalent. • SQL and Vizualization tools a plus. • Experience in a major studio a plus. • Experience in an ad tech business a plus. • Analytical and data driven thinking. • Proven track record of creating structure and deliverables. • Flexibility and ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment. • Ability to think quick, take on challenges, and problem solve. • Ability to multi-task and capable of delivering on tight timelines • Passionate consumer of premium Movies & TV.

Career path

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience. • 5+ years of experience within a Business Operations position, either inhouse or at a firm.
