Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex IT projects through the full life cycle from project definition and approval through implementation.

This position will work closely with business leaders, application managers, IT support staff, end users, and external vendors in order to define, manage and deliver projects that are delivered on time and on or under budget.
This position requires strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
It requires good customer service skills and the ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects.
Required / Desired
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with preference to technology related field
Experience in medium to large IT projects incorporating design, development, and implementation of software systems
Experience managing technology projects and working with technology project management methodologies. (e.g. waterfall, agile, iterative)
Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing to receive and report feedback to development teams
Strong communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
Working experience of and competency in PMI project management processes, including planning tasks, allocating resources, and risk management.
Working knowledge of application development, networking, databases, infrastructure, cloud, Software as a Service, etc.
Experience in State Government
