Responsabilidades
• Accounting and Reporting • Lead and manage the worldwide consolidated month end close including scheduling close activities, analyzing data reports, preparing account reconciliations and posting journal entries. • Maintain a senior level understanding of US GAAP, working knowledge of IFRS and overall strong technical accounting skills to research and resolve issues related to financial reporting, month end closing and worldwide consolidations. • Prepare, review and analyze financial statements for individual domestic and international companies and worldwide consolidated corporate balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and lead schedules. • Prepare, review and analyze accounting transactions, financial statements and financial reports to assess accuracy, gauge completeness and provide variance explanations. • Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, implementing follow up action plans for resolution on common recurring issues. • Prepare and review intercompany transactions and reconciliations, implementing follow up action plans for resolution on common recurring issues. • Prepare and review foreign currency revaluations and translations, implementing follow up action plans for resolution on common recurring issues. • Responsible for providing recurring and ad-hoc analyses to internal customers within the department and to external customers within the organization. • Special projects of a financial nature upon request.
Requerimientos adicionales (que no sean habilidades)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field of study. • Minimum of 6 years on an accounting team. • Minimum of 2 years of supervising a team. • Success in both public and private companies.
