We’re looking for a proactive Sales Development Assistant to provide assistance to the sales team in finding new contacts, initial client outreach, and setting meetings with potential clients. The candidate will be able to work creatively and create email/subject line copy, organize conference calls, and any other methods that can attract new clients.
This person will assist the sales team in achieving their sales targets, making sure meetings are scheduled, performing administrative tasks such as invoicing, contracting, and providing materials to clients, and any other help that the team might need.
• Generate sales leads by mining contact information for potential clients. • Creatively engage potential clients via writing copy, organizing conference calls, and periodic newsletters. • Initiate relationships via e-mail and phone outreach with the goal of setting meetings for the Sales team. • Track engagement and follow-up with potential clients. • Create a database of optimal potential clients in each sale vertical. • Provide sales materials to clients in advance of scheduled meetings. • Maintain diary, arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders. • Produce reports, presentations, and briefs. • Anticipate customers’ requirements, identify potential issues within assigned accounts, and work with other teams to take timely and effective action to resolve them.
Deal with a variety of clients, from large hospitality and financial corporations to government offices and other travel-related clients. Some attractive things about the position would be that there is a lot of room for creativity. Ideally, we want someone who will not just email people and set meetings but come up with different, creative ways to reach out to potential clients. They will be able to learn about the sales process from the first outreach to the signing of the contract and delivery of the product. This can be a really good experience for someone who wants to be in the sales.
