You will join our Service Management team as a Solution Architect. With your broad range of experience, you are comfortable having responsibility for the overall success and direction of your projects. You will be directly responsible for ensuring that all technical aspects of a project, and the required Service Management and business process changes, come together into one cohesive solution to achieve the required business value outcomes of your client.

What You'll Do

  • Lead client groups to conceptualize, understand, and gain support for the Service Management solution.
  • Conduct facilitation sessions with clients (possibly at senior management levels) to help them understand how their organization works and how the solution will integrate into the organization.
  • Understand the dynamics of client engagements and strategize the methods and deliverables to meet the demands of different types of engagements.
  • Ensure that technical solutions are in line with client requirements and required business value outcomes.
  • Act as the communication point of contact for vendors, industry partners, and governing bodies, and manage those relationships within the scope of the solution.
  • Communicate solution strategy to CEOs and executive, technical details to technical experts, and process impacts to managers and subject matter experts.
  • Produce, or oversee the production of, Service Management requirements, architecture, design, and development and implementation of overall project solutions.
  • Apply solution architecture methods to drive project progress.

What We’d Like

  • Post-secondary education in Business and/or information technology (or equivalent) with 10+ years industry experience.
  • Recent experience with BMC products including one or more of the Digital Service Operations (DSO) or Digital Service Management (DSM) product lines. In particular, Remedy ITSM 20.02 or newer, Helix ITSM, Helix Digital Workplace (DWP), Helix Discovery, or Helix Operations Management.
  • Broad knowledge/understanding of IT and business resources and methodologies or recognized as a specialist in one or more specific application areas.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Process Documentation, ITSM Project Management, Service Lifecycle Design, Process Maturity Assessment, ITSM Roadmap/Strategy Development, Operational Process Design, and Service Operations Process Design.
  • Capable of Solution Visioning – ability to express business/technology solutions to address constrained needs in project/system situation to business and technology audiences; create effective and appropriate views and models.
  • Experience using repeatable Solution Architecture methodologies, and selecting and adapting techniques, tools, and models as required.
  • Competent in all aspects of project planning and management. Capable of being a project manager in smaller projects or sub-projects.
  • Experience applying tools for Enterprise Architecture.
