Valnet Inc. is looking for a creative remote scriptwriter to produce high-quality content about popular movies and TV series relevant to the target audience. This includes Nostlagia Content, Animated Movies, Disney Classics, as well as popular new movies, netflix series, etc. This is for our Youtube channel, The Things. (Target demographic are Females ages 18-24)
Responsibilities
• Assist with researching and sourcing narratives based on the topic of the video; • Assist with sourcing usable clips, research, and media in the script to be used by the editing team; • Assist with creating a short outline before the script - that details the theme of each entry, and links to the relevant research; • Assist with writing a full 1600-2200 word script; • Assist with writing special project scripts 500-700 words (Introduction, Outro, short entries;) • Assist with writing animation scripts 1000-1200 words.
Additional requirements (other than skills)
• Previous work in scriptwriting, video, blogging, or similar media; • Knowledge of topics centered around a young female audience 18-25 years old; • Deep knowledge of the themes and topics covered on the channel; • Ability to create an engaging narrative based off online research; • Creative sense of ‘voice’ in the script; • Good communication and organizational skills (Deadlines, Script organization, Tracking Sources)
