Primary Responsibilities

Works closely with Product Managers and stakeholders from all business units and related third parties to define and document business processes and software requirements for technology initiatives.

Performs business analysis and support of product management by:

  • Assisting the Product Manager and business users with business case development
  • Planning and monitoring system requirements and enhancements
  • Working with users to elicit user requirements
  • Partnering with Product Managers to refine requirements
  • Taking ownership and maintaining requirements maintenance system
  • Developing a deep understanding of business processes and product functionality
  • Acting as expert user of requirement management systems
  • Acting as expert user of internally developed, proprietary systems
  • Performing root cause analysis with users to better understand their needs

Support product testing and drive quality:

  • Reviewing product test cases as needed to ensure they match requirements
  • Supporting process and product change requests
  • Providing Product Management support for UAT testing, installation and deployment of software

Secondary Responsibilities

Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by

  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”)

  • Establishing and enforcing departmental standards

  • Reviewing and updating company SOPs related to Product Management

Contributes to team effort by

  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes

  • Helping others to accomplish results

  • Performing other duties as assigned and deemed necessary

Maintains Technical Knowledge by

  • Attending and participating in applicable company sponsored training



  • Bachelor’s degree required


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer or other position documenting requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with medical imaging experience and a working knowledge of clinical trial process
  • Experience in developing marketing and user requirements for software applications highly desirable

Additional skill set:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills
  • Excellent analytical skill
  • Have an understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Excellent team leadership and facilitation skills
  • Business case development

Working conditions:

Travel: 0-25%

Lifting: 0-20lbs

Other: Computer work for long periods of time
